Another Sports Site: Yahoo!

NEW YORK - MARCH 11: (FILE PHOTO) Model Gisele...Image by Getty Images via @daylifeThePostGame.com, an online daily sports magazine featuring articles and tweets, was launched this week by Yahoo Sports and Sportsfanlive.com, a social networking and blogging site, according to a feature article in The New York Times.

Hoping to make a run at ESPN Magazine, ThePostGame.com Web site debuted with a  major story about New England Patriots' Quarterback Tom Brady's football "guru." The site will benefit from the support of Sportsfanlive, which boasts 500 writers and bloggers.

Yahoo Sports, now in its 14th year, began generating original content in 2004. Not everyone is a "good sport" at Yahoo these days following the Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Internet Service Provider's recent layoffs totaling more than 600.
