After seeing competitor Newsweek tossed into the bargain bin, venerable newsweekly magazine TIME, no stranger to declining ad revenues and shrinking circulation itself, is battling back with NewsFeed (http://newsfeed.time.com), a newly launched news aggregating Website."We're not here to break news," the Website oddly, but proudly, proclaims. "Instead, NewsFeed puts breaking news and trends into perspective, telling you what it means, why it's important, and why people are talking about it."
The site boasts edited stories from the writers and editors of TIME, along with stories gleaned from sources such as Google, Facebook and Twitter. Federal Express is a prominently featured sponsor of the Website.
